March 2022

Bora Tier

Rickshaw Pinot Noir

The 2019 Rickshaw Pinot Noir is bold yet delicate with rich black cherry notes, cola and a hint of vanilla and baking spices. A persistent core of juicy, ripe fruit is balanced by bright acidity. Fresh and fun!

Food Pairing - King Salmon or Skirt steak with chimichurri.

Rickshaw Red Blend

This is a blend of 30% Malbec, 28% Merlot, 17% Sangiovese, 14% Cabernet Franc and 11% Syrah. The aromas pop in notes of raspberry, blueberry and spice. The palate shows pleasing intensity and sophistication. Great everyday sipper.

Food Pairing - Porterhouse BBQ in Greyline Station, enjoy!

Rickshaw Chardonnay

Peach and pear aromas with some toasty vanilla notes. On the palate, the wine is full of lemon curd, tropical fruit and honeysuckle flavors that convey a sense of richness. At the same time, there is a vivacious acid streak that underpins and balances that richness, bringing the wine together for a seamless and bright Chardonnay.

Food Pairing - Super versatile pour. Popcorn & a movie night with the crew, to a date night with lobster.

Le Mistral Tier

Aphros, Phaunus Pet-Nat Rosé

A fun & flirty rose that is sure to be a spring and summer hit! Maceration with skins, dégorgement after 5 months. This is an ancient Method Sparkling wine, made from only one fermentation without added yeasts or sugar.

Food Pairing - The arrival of Spring! Friends & Fried Chicken.

Acentor, Calatayud Garnacha

This is an impressive Garnacha with dark fruit, a cocoa undercurrent, a touch of dark licorice, dark plums and cherries. Full-bodied with ripe and round tannins, a good layering of acidity and a medium-chewy finish. Sitting pretty and ready to crush.

Food Pairing - Short Ribs with smashed potatoes, broccolini, & charred bell peppers.

ARPEPE, Il Pettirosso Valtellina Superiore Nebbiolo

Bright and tangy, this fragrant wine offers head scents of red rose, pine forest, wet flint and Alpine herb. Vibrant and savory, the racy palate has lovely mineral energy and tension, doling out juicy Marasca cherry, ground clove and a hint of hazelnut alongside taut, refined tannins and bright acidity. Beautiful gem.

Food Pairing - Smoked Ribs. Seared Salmon & Mushroom Risotto.
