Gota de Arena Vino de la Tierra de Castilla y Leon Tempranillo
Deep purple color, the aromatics erupt from the glass featuring a mix of crushed red and black fruits, and sweet spice tinged with cedar. An incredible possessing fantastic fruit, excellent mid-palate depth and ripe tannins.
Ca' Furlan Cuvee Beatrice Prosecco
Ballet slipper pink in color, this Prosecco rosé has a fine, lively mousse, with delicate accents of pickled ginger and orchard blossom enmeshed with notes of peach skin, blood orange sorbet and stone. Lightly mouthwatering on the finish. Glera and Pinot Noir.
Passionate Wines Nuestra Propia Realidad Del Mono Tinto Tupungato
This is a co-fermentation of equal parts Malbec and Syrah that are all hand harvested from the Tupungato region of the Uco Valley, Mendoza. The nose has notes of plum, blackberry, vanilla, and cassis all dusted in hot chocolate powder. Rich on the palate with solid concentration but extremely well balanced showing dark fruit with a touch of spice and well integrated tannins. The finish lingers with ample fruit and light acid.

Star Lane Astral Cabernet Sauvignon
This midnight black colored Cabernet Sauvignon from Star Lane is impressive. It opens with an attractive ripe black cherry bouquet with a hint of oak in the background. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, very nicely balanced and very smooth. The flavor profile is a black currant and black licorice blend with nicely integrated gentle oak, minerality and a touch of Earl Grey tea and red plum. The finish is dry and its refined mild tannins do linger in your mouth well after the wine is gone.

Ashes & Diamonds Rouge No.3 Napa Valley
Ashes & Diamonds Rouge is a blend of Bordeaux style varietals from select vineyards across Napa Valley. The variety of regions depicts a whole view of what Napa Valley represents as a single AVA - from thin, rugged soils to the thicker, rich soils of the valley floor. Rouge also marries multiple vintages as another tool in the art of blending, which delivers a more approachable wine earlier in its life. Kashy Khaledi gained his passion for wine from his parents founding Darioush Winery. The 40-acre property that is home to Ashes & Diamond consists of 55-acres planted to Merlot and Cabernet Franc. They also sell fruit to small local wineries. This Napa Valley Red is focused, with notes of dark cherry and secondary notes of cocoa dusting and spice. “The wine rests easy on the palate, with great tannic structure and a round, rich frame. An excellent Napa Valley Cabernet blend, more about structure than ripeness and alcohol.

Bonny Doon Orange, 'Le Cigare Volant', Central Coast, CA
A winemaker who produces incredible approachable wines was strongly inspired by the Rhone Valley region in France. The focus of the winery has been to spend far more time working with vineyards in improving their practices, as well as on making wines with a much lighter touch – using indigenous yeast whenever possible.
The story behind 'Le Cigare Volant' goes back to the cooky ideas of the region which gave the wines inspiration. "In 1954, the village council of Chateauneuf-du-Pape was quite perturbed and apprehensive that flying saucers or "flying cigares" might do damage to their vineyards, were they to land therein. So right-thinking men all, they passed an ordinance prohibiting the landing of flying saucers or flying cigares in their vineyards. The ordinance further states that flying saucers or flying cigares that did land were to be taken immediately to the pound."
Aromas of fresh apricot, citrus and bergamot. Bright, fresh palate with peach, apricot and citrus peel. Textured and vibrant.
Pair with some yummy freshly popped popcorn with Bjorn Qorn Popqorn Kernels, drizzled with warmed Fatworks Grass-fed Ghee
Inama Vin Soave Classico, Veneto, IT
“A little luxury for everyday.”
A classic, harmonic, intense - the ideal high-end wine. Soave Classico is the hilly area where vineyards were planted during Roman times. It is uniquely suited for developing white wine with its volcanic soil: pure basaltic lava, the only area with these particular characteristics in Northern Italy.
On the nose there is the nectar of field flowers such as camomile, elderflower, iris.
Mineral on the palate with an almond finish, typical of Classic Garganega.
A perfect wine to pair at lunch with tinned Pulpo in Garlic Sauce topped on Mitica Toketti Flatbread Crisps and Divina Calstelvetrano Olives on the side
Domaine Labbe Mondeuse, Vin de Savoie, FR
Domaine Labbe was founded by the fathers of cousins Alexandra and Jérome Labbe in 1975. At the time, their parents were subsistence farmers (a little bit of everything: milk, cows, beef, hay, wheat and some table grapes).
A classic Mondeuse wine is aromatic with a deep purple color, with plenty of acidity and considerable tannins. The bouquet is powerfully aromatic, with notes of sour cherries, damson plums, pencil lead and a invigorating hint of black pepper.
Personally, I'd drink this by itself while curled up with a good book like Natural Wine For The People by Alice Feiring, setting the mood with a cozy candle, lit by the cutest matches and finish the evening with a smoothing face mask.

Thistle & Weed Khakibos, Western Cape, South Africa
A delicious blend of Spanish & French native varietals, 5% Verdelho - 24% Palomino - 22% Chenin Blanc - 13% Alvarinho - 6% Fernao Pires. The majority of this wine comes from the oldest Verdelho vineyard in South Africa and there is a degree of density and complexity rarely seen with this variety.
Aromas of citrus, orange blossom and toasted brioche. The richly layered, and expressive palate is kept in line by a searing acidity finishing with a sherbet tang.
No need to complicate things- pair this with some tasty french bread dipped in COS Olive Oil sprinkled with Maldon Sea Salt or just snack on some Paul & Pippa Traditional Crackers
Kloof Street Swartland Rouge, Swartland, South Africa
After working several vintages at wineries in France, South Africa and California, winemakers Chris and Andrea decided to settle in the Swartland wine region of South Africa, firmly beleiving that the schist and granite based terroirs and old vineyards of the Swartland have the potential to produce truly great wines.
They are one of the stand-out producers in South Africa's budding Swartland region. Chris and Andrea Mullineux’s ambition is to bottle wines that are a true expression of the Swartland, and all steps of their winemaking process are taken with this in mind. They work closely with a select group of growers who follow sustainable, reasoned farming practices, as well as owning vineyards at their Roundstone Farm in Riebeeksrivier.
This seductive blend of Southern Rhône varieties has a perfumed nose of violets, spice and purple fruit. The medium to full bodied, food-friendly palate is finely textured with firm but approachable tannins and a fresh, lingering finish.
Enjoy this wine paired on a balcony snacking on some Salted Fennel Salami by Salt & Twine and Nordic Crisps while reading through Fire & Wine
Cocito Barbaresco Riserva 'Baluchin' 2013
“Baluchin” translates to “star” in Piedmontese, as one can see the stars from this vineyard that sits at the highest position within the cru, and refers to the most ideal position for star-gazing on a clear night. This is an extremely precise and focused expression of Nebbiolo, with razor sharp, elegant aromas of blue violets, flint and ash. The high altitude, and thus cooler temperatures, of the vineyard result in a particularly pretty and graceful wine that opens quite beautifully at even a young age.
This is meant to be the center of attention- decant this Barbaresco in our handblown glass decanter and snack on some Salt & Twine Salami and Divina Roasted Tomatoes. The fat in both will balance with the strong tannins. Sit back and savor.
