Atilia Cerasuolo Rosé

Cerasuolo d'Abruzzo occupies a unique space between rosé and light red wine (my favorite world to be in!). Its deeper color and fuller texture come from Montepulciano grapes, giving it far more substance than many pale rosés.

Fresh strawberry, cherry, watermelon, and floral notes lead into a juicy palate with enough structure to stand up to food. Refreshing yet serious, it's a versatile bottle that shines year-round.

Pair With: Pizza, grilled salmon, antipasti, Mediterranean salads or just a patio lounger.

Domaine Le Facteur Vouvray

Vouvray, made from Chenin Blanc in France's Loire Valley, is one of the wine world's great chameleons. Domaine Le Facteur showcases the grape's ability to balance freshness, texture, and complexity in a beautifully approachable style.

This bottling offers vibrant acidity alongside notes of pear, apple, citrus, and honeyed floral aromas. The combination of freshness and texture makes it incredibly food-friendly while remaining enjoyable on its own.

Pair With: Pork tenderloin, roasted chicken, seafood, goat cheese, weekday celebrations.

Le Mistral Tier Bagueri Zéro Dosage Sparkling Wine

For lovers of dry, elegant sparkling wines, Bagueri Zéro Dosage is a standout choice. Produced using the traditional method, this Slovenian sparkling wine is made without any added dosage, allowing the purity of the fruit and the character of the terroir to take center stage.

In the glass, expect fine persistent bubbles alongside aromas of citrus, green apple, toasted brioche, and subtle mineral notes. The palate is crisp and precise, offering refreshing acidity, delicate fruit flavors, and a long, clean finish that highlights its zero-dosage style.

Pair With: Fresh oysters, sushi, grilled shrimp, smoked salmon, or soft cheeses.

Florez "The Pope's Smoke"

If you're looking for something outside the ordinary, The Pope's Smoke delivers. Produced in California by winemaker James Jelks, this wine embraces old-school character and natural winemaking sensibilities.

Dark fruit, savory spice, earthy notes, and a subtle smoky edge make this a wine that changes with every sip. It's expressive, layered, and full of personality—exactly the kind of bottle that sparks discussion around the dinner table.

Pair With: Barbecue, grilled sausages, smoked meats, mushroom dishes, or sharp cheddar.

Christian Barbier Daroka Orange

Orange wine continues to win over adventurous drinkers, and Daroka is an excellent introduction to the style. Made from white grapes fermented with extended skin contact, it offers structure and texture rarely found in traditional white wines.

Look for notes of dried citrus peel, tea leaves, herbs, and stone fruit, with gentle tannins that create a pleasantly grippy finish. It's a fascinating bridge between white and red wine.

Pair With: Moroccan cuisine, roasted vegetables, curry dishes, charcuterie, or hard cheeses.
