June Wine Club

Bora Tier

Canned wine; Is it good (yes!), and why should you crush it? Some quick facts;

  • Actually creates a brighter wine! The absence of light via bottle or oxygen via cork allows the wine to be protected and tasted in a truer form.

  • Most wine is meant to be drunk young! How often do you cellar and age what you buy? Rarely for most people - so pop and enjoy!

  • Reduces the carbon footprint of vino. If you're like us, that’s a BIG footprint.

Ah So Rosé Cans

Organic & 100% Garnacha from the Navarra region in Spain. Bright, sliced strawberries. Fresh raspberries & cranberries. Clean & dry finish. Leo’s favorite rosé of the season so far.

PAIR WITH: Mixed green salad with strawberries, orange segments & a balsamic drizzle. 90 degrees and a swimming pool. Gotham Project Cab Sauv Cans

A gem of a pour. Deep and lush California Cab that is easy drinking with blackberries & red currant up front, giving way to a long and silky finish. A great collab by Charles Bieler & Bruce Schneider showing the future of vino.

PAIR WITH: Filet off the grill. Charcuterie with hard cheeses and fatty meats. A movie theater visit, or binge watching the Bad Batch. Aupa Pais Cans

Organic & Sustainable Pais (with a touch of Carignan) that is one of the staff’s current favorites. Light in color with cherry, raspberry, and rose petals. It finishes with savory herbs (thyme & oregano) and a wonderful pop of acidity.

PAIR WITH: Soft cheeses, pizza, pasta. A trip to the Gorge.

Le Mistral Tier

Honoring A Legend:

Jim Clendenen was a pioneer, innovator, and friend to many in the wine world. His devotion to the craft and consistent challenge of what could be transformed wine in America, and served as a signpost for wine worldwide. Sadly, Jim passed away May 15th, 2021. While it is a tremendous loss for the world of vino, his legacy in producing wonderful wine in a consistent and loving way lives on. Cheers Jim!

Au Bon Climat Pinot Noir

Crafted by the Legendary Jim Clendenen, this wine shows grace, beauty and balance. Smoky black cherry intermingles with mulled raspberry, pomegranate, and earthy undertones. This wine is more reminiscent of classic Burgundian than northern Cali. A delicious pour that way over delivers on price.

PAIR WITH: Grilled chicken marinated in a spicy yogurt-chimichurri and grilled vegetables. Loved ones and a rainy day.

Au Bon Climat Santa Barbara Chardonnay

Phenomenal value that can age gracefully with complexity over the next 5-7 years. Barrel fermented chard that has pops of citrus, with a touch of richness and a bright, cleansing palate.

PAIR WITH: Lemon and tomato roasted salmon. shrimp scampi. Pasta Garage.

Au Bon Climat Santa Maria Valley Pinot Gris/Pinot Blanc

REASONS TO LOVE: A refreshing, dry, blended white with citrus lemon/lime notes, flinty minerality, and crisp finish. It is richer than most light whites, yet so easy drinking due to great balance and acidity.

PAIR WITH: Great as a summer sipper or match with shellfish, roast chicken, turkey or duck
