Ashes & Diamonds Rouge No.3 Napa Valley

Ashes & Diamonds Rouge is a blend of Bordeaux style varietals from select vineyards across Napa Valley. The variety of regions depicts a whole view of what Napa Valley represents as a single AVA - from thin, rugged soils to the thicker, rich soils of the valley floor. Rouge also marries multiple vintages as another tool in the art of blending, which delivers a more approachable wine earlier in its life. Kashy Khaledi gained his passion for wine from his parents founding Darioush Winery. The 40-acre property that is home to Ashes & Diamond consists of 55-acres planted to Merlot and Cabernet Franc. They also sell fruit to small local wineries. This Napa Valley Red is focused, with notes of dark cherry and secondary notes of cocoa dusting and spice. “The wine rests easy on the palate, with great tannic structure and a round, rich frame. An excellent Napa Valley Cabernet blend, more about structure than ripeness and alcohol.

Los Monteros Cava, Valencia, Spain

The undulating hills of the region reap the benefits of the nearby Mediterranean, with cold winters, hot summers, and warm westerly winds that make for ideal grape growing. Winemaker Juan José Muñoz stores his wines in rima (placed on their sides in rows to age) for at least nine months before bottling. The resulting fresh and fruity Cavas are an exceptional embodiment of Utiel-Requena's excellent terroir and prestigious winemaking heritage. This is a standout, small production sparkling wine. Citrus fruit flavors, pear and green apple combine with a creamy sensation for a balanced mouthfeel. The finish is light and refreshing with nice acidity. Drink this at your Derby party!

Serve up your bubbles with some homemade popcorn seasoning it with a bit of a Fatworks Grass-Fed Ghee and Sabintino Tartufi Truffle & Sea Salt. Make your snack pairing mobile with a handheld charcuterie snack of Volpi Roltinis- perfect pairings!

Ardèche Rosé ,Vigneron Ardechois, Ardèche, Rhône, France

Vignerons Ardechois is a collective of wine producers and farmers located in the southern Ardeche with the aim of creating a supportive and sustainable environment. Today, the collective has training systems in place to help young farmers and winemakers learn the skills needed to work their own land with sustainable farming methods to contribute to health of the Ardèche with respect to the water, air, flora and fauna. Examples include the installation of bat’s nesting-boxes which allow to fight naturally against certain pests of the vine, seeding between the rows of vines and establishing beehives next to some parcels of vineyards to promote the presence of biodiversity.

Classic southern French rose, bone dry with red berries and crushed flowers, and a nice long finish. Enjoy on your patio or rooftop for a refreshing beverage during your siesta afternoon siesta!

Toss this wine in a Canvas Wine Tote with some addicting Parmesan Crisps, and lay it all out on your fun Hand Painted Hand Towel at your destination, you'll have yourself a perfect little picnic.

Xanadu Exmoor Cabernet Sauvignon, Margaret River, WA, Australia

Situated only four kilometres from the town centre of Margaret River and an equal distance from the magnificent coastline, Xanadu is a true pioneer of the region with a long history of producing wines with distinct character that embody all that is the Margaret River.

You'll find vibrant aromas of ripe blackcurrants, blueberries and plums with a hint of spice and toasty oak. The palate is packed full of juicy fruits of the forest, cassis and chocolate. Medium to full-bodied, the fruits are supported by supple tannins. A balanced wine with a persistent fruit finish.

This wine begs to be paired with some grilled meat. Enjoy the beautiful spring day drinking Xanadu out of Riedel Glassware while you fire up the barbie and throw on a few bell peppers and onions with your choice of meat seasoned with Smoked Maldon Sea Salt.

Willful Wine Co Pinot Blanc, Yamhill-Carlton, CA

will•ful (adj): determined; pertinacious; unruly; wild.

Carefully managed Oregon grapes are fermented using native, ‘wild’ yeasts to make a more complex wine and produce the greatest expression of the terroir. As the saying goes, "where there's a will, there's a way," and owner/winemaker Pam Walden is nothing if not willful. Her intention has always been to live life to the fullest, with a strong work ethic and independent spirit that embraces the unknown. The Pinot Blanc is a fresh, crisp white wine with a creaminess on the mid-palate, delicious with a creamy pasta, to be enjoyed on a hot summer night.

What a yummy wine to go with some creamy summer foods - pair with a pasta dish made with Sfoglini Reginetti and Maison Potier Sauce No 8 Lemon & Dill. Set the table with a Blown Glass Vase with some freshly cut spring flowers!

Feudi San Gregorio Greco Di Tufo, Irpinia, Italy

Lovely fruit, strong perfumed aromatics, rich acidity with spicy minerality and a touch of balsamic, this wine is elegant and complex. A gorgeous wine to drink on its own or with seafood, straight out of the ocean.

Take your time and savor this gorgeously complex wine over a bright and fun Power Lunch Puzzle or while perusing through the Salty Edition of the Eaten Publication (it should give great ideas for pairing food with this wine). A tin of Cockles and Lemon Sea Salt are perfect ingredients to pair as well.

Zuccardi Malbec, Valle d'Uco, Argentina

Ranked 56th in Wine Spectator's International Top 100, José Zuccardi Malbec is blended with 5% Cabernet Sauvignon. Each variety is naturally fermented in concrete vats, using wild yeasts, and is then aged in foudres and second-use barrels for 24 months.

This is a sexy and complex wine- perfect for date night.

Set the mood with a black wooden taper candle holder and candle and pair with a Fine & Raw Chocolate Bar and Makai & Sons Oaxaca Shortbread Butter Cookies
